Choosing to enter rehab is a bold, courageous step. At Spring Grove Recovery, located in the heart of Colorado Springs, we understand just how vulnerable this moment can be. Whether you're seeking help for alcohol addiction, drug dependency, or co-occurring mental health challenges, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Here, you can expect whole-person healing in the Rockies—recovery that honors your story, your goals, and your future. From day one, our compassionate team will walk you through what to expect in addiction treatment: a personalized treatment plan, evidence-based therapies, and a supportive environment designed to foster lasting change.

We also recognize that everyone’s path to recovery is different. That’s why we offer specialized treatment options tailored to the unique challenges our clients face, providing space to heal with strength, dignity, and community.

What to expect in alcohol or drug rehab

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be met with compassion—not judgment. We work with you to understand your history and create a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs and priorities. At Spring Grove Recovery, we offer:

This is recovery that grows with you. Here, healing is grown with care, delivered with clinical excellence, dignity, and empathy.

What should I bring with me?

We want you to feel prepared and at ease. Prior to arrival, our team will provide a detailed packing list, but these are some essentials:

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes
  • Toiletries (must be alcohol-free)
  • A journal or approved reading materials
  • Any prescription medications (reviewed and approved by our medical team)

For everyone’s safety, please avoid bringing alcohol-based products, weapons, or any unapproved items. If you have questions, just reach out. We’re here to help.

How long will I be in treatment?

The average length of stay in inpatient treatment is approximately 21-30 days, with medical detox or withdrawal management lasting 10-14 days. However, your treatment duration will be carefully tailored according to your insurance plan, unique needs, and personal progress. We accept Medicaid to make treatment more accessible, and we take the time to understand what works best for you.

Our focus is on long-term healing, not just short-term stabilization. This means addressing the root causes of challenges and equipping you with the tools to maintain recovery well beyond your time with us. Recovery isn’t a race, and we’re committed to walking alongside you at every step, providing the support and guidance you need to feel empowered, confident, and ready to thrive in the next chapter of your life.

CEO

Lindsay Dean

Lindsay Dean currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Spring Grove Recovery. With more than 10 years of experience in behavioral health, Lindsay is deeply committed to expanding access to ethical, high-quality treatment and building systems of care that support long-term, sustainable recovery through compassionate, trauma-informed practices.
Lindsay began her career in direct patient care, where early experience as a mental health technician, crisis intervention specialist, and group/ individual counselor shaped her understanding of how trauma impacts engagement, trust, and openness to treatment. This clinical foundation continues to inform her leadership philosophy, reinforcing the belief that effective treatment systems must be grounded in safety, dignity, and respect.

As Lindsay progressed into senior leadership, her focus shifted toward building and strengthening treatment programs that balance clinical excellence with operational and regulatory integrity. She served as Program Director at one of the largest Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) in Colorado Springs, where she led multidisciplinary teams, expanded access to evidence-based services for priority populations via increased grant funding, and ensured adherence to state and federal regulations.

Most recently, Lindsay served as Assistant Executive Director of Spring Grove Recovery, where she aligned clinical, operational, and administrative teams to strengthen continuity between inpatient and outpatient levels of care. Her leadership emphasized collaboration, sustainability, and the reduction of barriers to treatment access.
Lindsay’s leadership is grounded in operational excellence, regulatory integrity, and trauma-informed systems of care that prioritize patient safety and engagement. She has successfully guided organizations through extensive state and federal oversight, managed and expanded state grant funding, and strengthened services for underserved and vulnerable populations.

Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Personal Health and is a Certified Addiction Specialist. As CEO, she leads Spring Grove Recovery with a clear mission: to cultivate a trauma-informed, collaborative, and compassionate treatment environment where individuals are empowered to heal, engage meaningfully in their own care, and sustain recovery long after residential treatment ends.
