Paying for Addiction Treatment

One of the first questions people ask when considering rehab is: “How am I going to pay for this?” At Spring Grove Recovery, we believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of life-saving care. That’s why we work directly with you to make paying for addiction treatment as simple, transparent, and stress-free as possible.

Our admissions team is here to help you understand your insurance benefits, explore available options, and guide you through your resources, so you can focus on what truly matters: healing.

We accept Medicaid

We believe that healing should be within reach for everyone—no matter your background, your story, or your insurance status. We proudly accept Medicaid, including Health First Colorado and other state Medicaid plans. If you're enrolled, you may be eligible for treatment at little or no cost to you.

We understand that navigating insurance can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already going through a difficult time. Our caring team is here to walk you through every step of the process. We’re experienced in working with Medicaid-eligible patients and can help you understand what’s covered, answer your questions with compassion, and make sure you can begin care as soon as possible—often the same day you reach out.

Paying for addiction treatment with commercial insurance

In addition to Medicaid, Spring Grove Recovery proudly accepts most major commercial insurance plans. If you’re covered under a commercial policy, it’s likely that your plan will cover a portion—or even the full cost—of services such as:

Using commercial insurance can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. Our team will handle your insurance verification and walk you through exactly what’s covered, how much is owed (if anything), and what to expect throughout the process.

What if I'm not sure what my plan covers?

That’s where we come in. Our admissions specialists have extensive experience working with insurance providers and government-funded plans. We’ll help you determine:

  • Whether addiction treatment services are covered
  • Which levels of care your plan includes
  • Your deductible, co-pays, and any out-of-pocket costs
  • If pre-authorization is needed

We’ll handle the logistics, so you don’t have to.

Common questions about paying for treatment

If your insurance doesn't cover the full cost of care, we’ll work with you to explore financial options. Our goal is to find a solution that works for you—not to create more stress.

Yes. All insurance verification and treatment discussions are strictly confidential. We follow HIPAA regulations and protect your privacy at every step.

Most insurance plans (including Medicaid) cover detox and inpatient services. During your assessment, we’ll explain exactly which services are covered and help you build a plan accordingly.
